2025 Annual Report

From Pastor Shane…

Dear Church Family,

This past year, 2025, has been a clear testimony to the grace and faithfulness of God among us. As we reflect on all that the Lord has done, we are so grateful and humbled by His continued work through our church and we have moved into 2026 with renewed confidence in His power to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask and think. By His kindness, we saw continued growth in our ministry, not only in numbers, but in the steady strengthening of our ministry and mission. These are such clear signs of God’s grace at work—drawing people, deepening commitment, and stirring generosity for the sake of His name.

The year 2025 also marked a significant milestone as we completed our first full year in our new building. What was once a vision has now become an ongoing blessing, providing us with a central place for worship, fellowship, and ministry. Week by week, we are reminded that this facility is not an end in itself, but a tool for gospel ministry. Even as we continue to address remaining unfinished elements, we have been encouraged by the willingness of our church family to give above and beyond in order to see these needs met. We were particularly blessed by the generosity from our annual Christmas Giving Tree, and we continue to work to complete the projects that have been funded through that effort. The same spirit of sacrificial generosity that carried us into this building continues to sustain the work that remains.

Looking ahead, we are mindful that the Lord is not finished with us. There are still significant opportunities before us, including the development of a sports field and playground. These projects will require ongoing sacrifice, thoughtful planning, and united commitment. Yet, we move forward with confidence—not in our own ability, but in the proven faithfulness of God and the demonstrated generosity of His people. If the past year has shown us anything, it is that God delights to use the willing obedience of His church to accomplish far more than we could ask or imagine.

The mission remains unchanged: to proclaim Christ faithfully, to shepherd His people diligently, and to steward every resource for His glory. We give thanks for what God has done, and we look ahead with expectation for what He will continue to do. To Him alone be the glory for every life changed, every need met, and every step forward in the work He has entrusted to us.

Grace & Peace,

Pastor Shane

The accompanying charts provide valuable comparative data on personnel costs, average weekly attendance, and balance sheet equity growth. As the Lord continues to bless us with a steady increase in average weekly attendance, we have successfully managed overall personnel expense growth. Furthermore, our balance sheet reflects substantial increases in land and building assets, positioning us in a sound equity position.

2025 Financial Statements

The Lord blessed our church with another prosperous financial year in 2025. Our income surpassed our expenses, and our balance sheet saw a substantial increase in land and building assets. Although we encountered unique challenges as we adapted to the operational and fiscal demands of our new building, the Lord’s grace and the generosity of our congregation ensured that all our ministries flourished.

Giving Tree Gratitude!

Our 2025 December Giving Tree initiative was a tremendous blessing for our church! The generous contributions from the people of FCC helped us continue to “outfit” our new building and provide essential equipment and supplies for various ministry and operational areas. Below are some examples of how the Giving Tree contributions are being utilized.

Sound System Improvements

Several designated gifts during the year that culimated with our December Giving Tree initiative enabled us to complete a significant upgrade to our sanctuary sound system.

Sanctuary Millwork

We are currently adding decorative paneling, trim, and molding throughout our sanctuary to enhance its aesthetic appeal with these design elements.

Atrium/Common Area Furnishings

Our atrium and 2nd floor common areas are being furnished with an array of new seating options that enhance the spaces and better facilitate fellowship.

Nursery Check-In Finish Out

The parent check-in area of our nursery has been finished out with a nice wall-mounted wood surface and additional check-in kiosks to upgrade the space and better serve parents.

2026 Annual Budget

Our 2026 Annual Budget reflects our continued focus on conservative fiscal management with modest Y/Y changes. Possible mid-year adjustments may be necessary as we continue to analyze giving trends and evaluate staffing, operational, and benevolence needs. We are also exploring a few emerging missions support opportunities that could have bearing on our 2026 missions budget. We have forecasted a robust net income that provides some flexibility for any needed expense adjustments during the budget year.

Looking Ahead…

Activity Field Grading & Sod

We are excited to move forward in early fall with plans to grade and sod our activity field on the east side of our building. This will become a vibrant and well-used space on our property for years to come.

Park & Playground

Our plans for a landscaped park and playground area near the southeast corner of our property are still ongoing. We’re working on a multi-phased approach that can be funded, completed, and utilized in stages over time.
